Completing a cert in New Media Production and also having the privilege to tutor at NMTC gave me the skills and confidence to progress onto a Masters degree in Creative Music Technology at Bath Spa University, UK. Being a Commerce graduate, I always wanted to do something different. At NMTC I was encouraged to believe in myself. The BTEC HND in Business (IT) was the first step towards fulfilling my ambition. This course helped me secure a place at NUI Galway where I completed a Masters in ISM (Information Systems Management). There are many good film courses out there that form great students. The difference I found with studying at NMTC is that I finished the course as a "ready-to-go" professional. This course broadened my vision in different areas of filmmaking and opened many doors to me. The excellent Portfolio Preparation course and Interview Skills training at NMTC enabled me to secure a place on my first choice degree option - BA (Hons) Architecture at Birmingham City University straight from my Leaving Cert.
