Full-time Course Places Still Available
There are no CAO points requirements for all our full-time courses. Interview only.
We are currently interviewing for all BTEC HND and FETAC courses. Please contact us at info@nmtc.ie to arrange an interview. Our 2yr BTEC HNDs are work-related qualifications built to accommodate the needs of employers and allow progression to Uni. They can be topped up with a 1yr Hons Degree.

Student Transfer
We have confirmed a bi-lateral agreement with the ENS Louis Lumière school, Paris to facilitate student transfer between our institutions. We are arranging similar agreements with other schools including the School of Visual Arts, New York.

Summer 2011
We have received excellent feedback from our BTEC and FETAC External Examiners. This year a high number of students were awarded Distinction grades.
In September NMTC will be delivering a lecture at the 'Faster Than the Speed of Light' event at the British Science Festival, organised by the British Science Association.

New Part-Time programmes include a Cert in DSLR HD Film making and a Cert in Social Media.

MA programmes starting Oct 2011
New MA programmes launching 2011 include Film Production, Photography, Animation and the research-based MA by Project. We will start processing applications for these courses in Aug 2011. More info available here.

BTEC HND Courses - 2 years
Our HND courses in Film, Photography, 3D Design, Computer Games Animation and Journalism can be topped up with a one-year programme leading to a full degree award.

New Portfolio Preparation Courses
Following our excellent success in helping students secure places in international graduate and post-graduate courses we are offering two new Portfolio Preparation programmes - full-time and part-time. More info. available here.

EBU Logo Designed at NMTC Watched by Over 125 Million at Eurovision 2010!
The team at New Media Technology College Dublin has designed the new 3D Logo for the European Broadcasting Union which will be broadcast during each ad break at this year's Eurovision Song Contest reaching over 125 million! More details here.

Guest Lectures and Industry Visits
NMTC students will be visiting Ardmore Studios and Ardmore Sound next week. Upcoming events include screenwriting masterclasses with Senator Eoghan Harris, a 2-day masterclass with London-based photographer David Robinson and a guest lecture with award winning film director Peter McCarthy 'Fight or Flight' (2007).

New 2yrs Journalism Course
This new BTEC HND course is suitable for candidates who wish to pursue a professional career in Journalism. Course details are available here.

Back to Education Allowance
Many NMTC full-time courses qualify for Back to Education Allowances. Please contact the Department of Social of Family Affairs if you wish to make an application for course funding.
