Entry Requirements
This is an advanced level course. You should have completed our Digital Video Production course or have previous film / video production experience.
Qualification
Participants, on satisfactory completion of the course and any related assignments, will be awarded a Certificate in DSLR HD Filmmaking from City & Guilds.
Total Course Time
18 hours tutored training - 3 hours per week for six weeks. Participants should allow a further 3 hours per week for assignment and revision.
Course Description
This course provides users with advanced training in digital filmmaking using a DLSR camera with HD video capabilities. The latest HDSLR cameras require filmmakers to think in terms of cinematography rather than videography. By learning the fundamentals of cinematic-style shooting, DSLR operators can create the HDSLR aesthetic or 'film look'.
